Closet Raid

Hope you all have had a fabulous few weeks! We have been über busy with vintage fairs and time has just slipped away, but here is what we've been up to!

The Vintage and Handmade Fair

This new vintage fair was held at No.16 The Downs in Altrincham on Saturday 8th March! It was a pop up fair with over 20 stalls and a super cute vintage tea room serving delicious cakes and drinks! There was a really nice vibe to the fair with some great vintage treasures on offer! I couldn't resist getting a photo with these two extremely well dressed young men! ;-)

The Vintage and Fashion Fair

Rocking up to The Blue Coat in Liverpool for this vintage fair was great! It's such a great venue as It's right in the centre of Liverpool, so there's loads to do and see once you've finished with your vintage shopping! We got lots of new beads and vintage costume jewellery in too which went down a treat! Plus how awesome are those cupcakes!?  We will definitely be venturing to this vintage fair again and the next one is planned for 28th June!

The Modern Vintage Pop Up Sale

We landed at The Variety pub in Preston last Saturday for this cute pop up fair! It was only a small fair with about 10 stalls but wow did it have some quality traders in! There was a great mix of vintage fashion, handbags and jewellery plus some retro crafts! They served afternoon tea in gorgeous tea cups and had a vintage singer on in the afternoon! Plus it was free entry! Whats not to love!? They are planing another one in the summer so keep your eyes peeled for more info!

Closet Raid

We have been lucky enough to be asked to do a 'Closet Raid' feature for the fab vintage lifestyle website The Lady and Him! I was so thrilled to be asked to do this and the feature is brilliant! Take a peek @ www.theladyandhim.com and check out 5 of my favourite styles!

We have a double weekend booked for our next vintage venture both based in Manchester! We will be at Gin and Tonic Vintage Fair on 5th April @ The Terrace Bar in the Northern Quarter! And on Sunday 6th April we will be at The Finders Keepers Vintage Fair at the Old Granada Studios! So excited! I'll be posting more info soon!

Our retro song of the week is by Tears for Fears, one of my favourite 80's bands! I do have a deep love for the 80's! Some of their fab hits include MadWorld and Shout but I've chosen Everybody Wants to Rule the World which was released in 1985!
Enjoy!

A Very Vintage afFair!

It was a very vintage afFair indeed on Saturday! A great atmosphere with lots of lovely happy customers! The new venue, Preston Indoor Market was a great choice by Dolly Dazzler Presents, with stalls inside and out, a fabulous array of vintage and handmade treasures and the uber convenient parking, it was a major success! Fingers crossed this one will be coming around again and you can definitely expect us there! Here's a few shots from the day!

I was lucky enough to share my stall space with the gorgeous and talented Miss Vintage Faith! Had a fab day showing off her handmade flower crowns!

Our pop - up boutique for the day! I'm loving these pastel colours for spring!

And the lovely Miss Dolly Dazzler herself, showing off her balloons! Hee Hee

My outfit for the fair was this mix and match look! One of my favourite buys of the year is this gorgeous re-worked vintage dress from Retro Rehab. The colour, pattern and fit are all perfect for me and its really comfy and light too! I've teamed it up with wine coloured tights (my favourite!) a delicate silver necklace and a chunky bracelet in matching colours, and for contrast added some heavy black boots!

Our next vintage adventure will be at The Vintage and Handmade Fair, Upstairs at 16 The Downs in Altrincham 10am - 5pm! There will be a vintage tea room too, plus lots of vintage goodies to add to your spring wardrobe!

Our retro song of the week is from the unique and funky Blondie, need I say more? Enjoy....
