Flower Crowns & Sunny Days

Spring has definitely been in the air lately! We had a fab time at The Spring Vintage Fair in Preston Indoor market last Saturday! Oodles of amazing vintage treasures, handmade crafts & right near a café Nero too! Heh heh Here's a few shots from the day!

Got slightly carried away trying on this cute but crazy hat! An awesome bargain buy for a fiver by Cara from Vintage Faith!

I've fallen in love with these gorgeous handmade flower crowns! A perfect addition to your spring/summer wardrobe and so pretty! These were hand crafted by the lovely Cara From Vintage Faith! You can find her and buy on Facebook @VinatgeFaith38 She also sells re-worked vintage fashion and I pretty much want everything! Heh Heh So check her out! 

We have a few weeks off from our vintage adventures coming up for a re-fresh and re-charge of the website, blog and me! Heh heh But here's a shot of the fab new spring/summer vintage fashion landing in our vintage box this weekend! We have some great photo shoots planned and lots more vintage treasures so keep posted! 

Our retro song of the week is AWESOME!! I love this unique twist on one of my favourite songs! It's a cover of 'Sweet Child Of Mine' by Guns and Roses but in the style of vintage New Orléans by Post Modern Juke Box! Have a listen and be blown away!

Spring Vintage

What a fabulous weekend had! Filled with vintage, dancing and The Rovers Return! We have been at 2 vintage fairs, done lots of new stock photo edits and managed to squeeze a social life in there too! Phew! Heh Heh Here's a few photos of our travels:

We are very excited about the oodles of new vintage fashion coming soon to our Vintage Box! We will also be updating our Retro Inspired range soon too! Here's a cheeky shot of one of our favourite dresses for summer! Bold and bright, just how we like it! The buttons on this dress are gorgeous too! Keep posted! 

We have a well deserved weekend off coming up but will be back with our next vintage adventure on the 19th April @ The Spring is in the Vintage Fair in Preston Indoor Market! Really looking forward to this fabulous fair! We did our last one there in March but this ones set to be even better! Hope to see you there! 

Our retro song of the week is a new song, but has a retro vibe! (Told you I'd get out of the 80's! heh heh) I'm loving Sophie Ellis Bextor's new album WanderLust and she is such a vintage inspired woman! Her new album has a real quirky, dreamy feel to it so I've picked one of my favourites from it for you to enjoy! ;-)

Finders Keepers

We have finished a fabulous photo shoot this week and am just in the process of editing and up loading loads of spring vintage treasures to the boutique! There are some gorgeous dresses and skirts going online soon but in the mean time here's a few 'Blooper' photos from the shoot on Sunday and a sneak peek of some of the new stock! 

I love doing the photo shoots for the boutique, I have so much fun picking the outfits and styling them up, but things do get a little silly some times! Heh heh One of my favourites is the pink and white dress! Such a fun summer piece and I just love the print! Roll on summer! 

We have a full weekend coming with two vintage adventures! The first is on Sat 5th at The Gin and Tonic Vintage Fair in the Northern Quarter, Manchester:

And on Sunday we are at The Old Granada Studios!!!! Wooo! They are hosting lots of pop up fairs in the coming weeks but we will be at The Finders Keepers Vintage Fair for their launch weekend! So excited!

We have lots of new spring/summer stock coming with us to the fairs plus new jewelry and major bargains! So get yourself down there and say Hi! And just for a bit of fun if any one quotes to me 'Retro Queens Rule' at the fairs this weekend I'll give you 10% off anything! Plus some love hearts! Heh Heh See you there!
